The Indian Coast Guard is a multi-mission organization that performs defense and other real-time operations at sea. Most candidates join Coast Guard to protect the country's interests. The Indian Coast Guard posts contain both official posts and sailor positions. From time to time, the Indian Coast Guard also recruits other management candidates and graduates. The basic criteria for each post may differ. Most positions will include strict medical standards for men and women in terms of weight, weight, chest and eye. Women are only selected as officers for general service at the Coast Guard. The selection process will be the same as the male candidates.
